Sunny & Saylor’s Sunrise Session
Wisconsin Pet Photography
Some mornings are just magic. The sun barely peeking over the trees, the dew still fresh on the grass, and two pups ready to take on the world.
At 6:30 AM sharp, Scott and I pulled up to a charming home in Lake Wissota, Wisconsin, greeted with warm smiles from Darcy and Karen—and excited tail wags from their two beloved labs: Sunny and Saylor.
From the very first “good morning,” we knew this session would be special.
Sunny, a wise yellow lab with the gentlest eyes, was clearly the queen of calm… as long as there were treats involved. Saylor, her younger, spunky black lab sister, was full of pure joy and energy—her eyes locked on a slobbery tennis ball like it held the secrets of the universe.
We ran, we played, we laughed (a lot), and at times we all paused to attempt the near-impossible: getting both girls to look at the camera at the same time. Let’s just say—there may have been squeaky toys and snacks involved.
Darcy and Karen were an absolute joy—laid-back, kind, and so clearly in love with their girls. These moments weren’t just about portraits; they were about capturing a piece of their everyday life, full of love, fetch, and muddy paws.
These two pups weren’t just dogs… they were family. And that’s exactly what we love to photograph most.
Thinking about a pet photo session of your own?
We’d love to come to your home or favorite park near Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, or right here in Lake Wissota to create something just as meaningful.
📸 Let’s tell your pet’s story—beautifully, honestly, and with a few treats along the way.
